Catholic Ministry Rooted in Prayer, Service, and Brotherhood
Founded by Eric “E.T.” Tafoya, Traditional Urban Catholic 7 is a Catholic brotherhood built from a story of conversion, redemption, and restoration. TUC7 puts faith into action through homeless outreach, prison outreach, pro-life Rosary rallies, men’s Bible study, Catholic conferences, public prayer, and boots-on-the-ground service in San Bernardino and beyond - reminding the forgotten that they are seen, valued, and not alone.
“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
(James 1:22)

The Story of E.T. and a Mission Built on Faith, Redemption, and Service
El Compás Católico recently shared the story of Eric “E.T.” Tafoya, founder of Traditional Urban Catholic, and the mission growing through his life, faith, and service in San Bernardino.
Born from E.T.’s own story of conversion and redemption, TUC7 brings the Gospel directly to the places many people overlook — the streets, parks, detention centers, and spaces of reentry. Through prayer, food, clothing, encouragement, and brotherhood, the ministry reminds people facing homelessness, addiction, violence, and hardship that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
Faith in Action. Boots on the Ground.
Traditional Urban Catholic 7 is a Catholic brotherhood putting faith into action through prayer, service, formation, and public witness.
We serve in the streets, pray outside clinics, bring the Gospel into prisons, gather men for Bible study, and show up for the people and places too often forgotten.
What We Do
-
Homeless Outreach
We serve Christ in the forgotten - on sidewalks, under bridges, and in back alleys. No cameras. No fanfare. Just love and a hot meal.
-
Prison Outreach
Eric brings the Gospel into jail cells he once sat in. Through testimony and truth, incarcerated men are reminded that mercy reaches deeper than any sentence.
-
Pro-Life Rosary
We pray outside abortion clinics with courage and compassion - not in protest, but in reparation and spiritual defense of the unborn and their mothers.
-
Men’s Rosary Marches
We don’t hide our faith. We walk it. Shoulder to shoulder through city streets, praying the rosary as a public act of repentance, reparation, and revival.
-
Men’s Bible Study
Every Monday, we open the Word and get to work. No fluff. Just Scripture, brotherhood, and honest conversations about what it means to follow Christ.
-
Conferences & Speaking
We speak wherever we’re called -parishes, gyms, correctional facilities, retreats - calling men to repentance, identity, and the fight for their souls.
